Aboard: Chapter 1(Gayle's perspective)

The large ship cast a shadow over my family and the others around us. TITANIC, it read on the stern. "Gayle," my mother shouted, "stop staring, it's only a ship." Mother scoffed. She snapped for our maid to take our bags.
Suddenly, I heard the clanking of chains and ran fled from our bags. I saw a police officer and a poorly dressed young man in handcuffs. "What are you doing to this poor man?" I ask. The police man grunts and yanks the young man. "A thief," the officer said. "This isnt right," I scoff. "It's the law, little lady. Now step aside, ma'm," the officer told me. "No," I answer. I step in front of the officer and he starts to look annoyed. "Listen-," the officer started, but he got sidetracked watching me unlock the handcuffs. "HEY," screamed the officer, but I had already escaped with the prisoner."They'll arrest you in America, boy," the officer screamed after us. "I'll pay for your ticket aboard the TITANIC, although it has to be third class." The only thing the prisoner did was nod. "My name's Gayle Ruthford," I answer, breaking the okward silence. "James. James Trip," the prisoner, James, answered. I nod and smile. As I make my way toward the luxurious ship, I think, James and I will be good friends.

Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter, you guys! I WAS supposed to go to church, but decided not to. I went to a carnival yesterday, but that turned out to be boring. I did, though, find some vendors from out of area who sold 18" inch doll clothing. Go to emilyroseathome.com and you can see all of their products. Hope you had a better Easter than I did.

S'up. So I'm just starting my own blog and don't know what to write about. Well... My dad's birthday is coming up. And I got a HORRIBLY low grade on my math test. So I'm mad. Over the top mad. I'm pretty sure most of you other bloggers have gotten low test scores, right? Anyway, I'm having a contest.
